BLONDE – FEEL GOOD

After two huge hits with ‘I Loved You’ (#7) and this summer’s ‘All
Cried Out’ (#4), fast rising Bristol duo BLONDE are set to land a
third crossover single with ‘Feel Good (It’s Alright)’ which is out
August 14th on FFRR.

Continuing Blonde’s uplifting summer sound, ‘Feel Good (It’s
Alright)’ effortlessly blends punchy house piano stabs, euphoric
beats and a soaring, soulful topline courtesy of featured vocalist
Karen Harding. Harding recently hit the Top 10 with her Method
Records debut single ‘Say Something’.

Since forming in Bristol after first meeting online, BLONDE’s focus
has been targeted at creating masterful club anthems. Their
reputation developed with the initial FFRR singles ‘Higher Ground’
and ‘Foolish’ as they hit #1 at HypeM and earned extensive
Radio 1 support from MistaJam, Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard,
Huw Stephens, B. Traits, Phil & Alice and Rob Da Bank.
Their DJ sets soundtracked the summer of 2014 with
performances at festivals including Glastonbury, Wireless, Global
Gathering, Secret Garden Party, Creamfields and Bestival, which
they followed with Eton Messy’s sold-out autumn tour. Their
dedication was rewarded in December 2014 when ‘I Loved You’
translated their underground acclaim into mainstream success as it
crashed into the charts at #7. The follow-up ‘All Cried Out’
featured Atlantic Records artist Alex Newell and peaked even higher
at #4.

BLONDE continue to work on their debut album alongside their own
scene of emerging vocal talent. In addition to Melissa Steel who
features on ‘I Loved You’; and Alex Newell who sung on their
biggest hit ‘All Cried Out’; there’s Sony/ATV songwriter Cass Lowe;
Zak Abel, who recently signed to Atlantic; and Ryan Ashley who has
joined the PMR roster alongside the likes of Disclosure and Jessie
Ware.

BLONDE played their debut live show at London’s Oslo, which was
followed by festivals including Lovebox, Parklife, Loves Saves The
Day, Life and No Tomorrow, plus they were the perfect choice for
the opening of Ibiza Rocks sun-drenched Pool Party. They are set to
play the following summer shows and a headline tour from
October.
